Nothing wrong with a little discreet testing outback. I think the running theme is that at some point you or someone else will be in your bucket to trim a tree or retrieve a frisbee or something. So be extra careful and if you don’t want to hit the ground like a sack of potatoes put on a safety harness…

Ok today got a package from Messicks and finished rebuilding the B7100's B219 FEL right lift arm Hydraulic cylinder.

 

Does the porch actually need all that pea gravel under it? Are you going to put it back?

 

FINALLY got some decent tires on the ZT.

I have to say a bunch of good things about these low cost tires.

Holy heck are they GREAT.
1) They dig in, sure but ended up much much less damaging than 6 foot long brown skid marks
2) I shaved off a bunch of mow time
3) They ride better even, take up a lot of shock in the backbone and kidneys
4) I side mowed the septic mound. Huge win. Safety in grip! I used to go up and over, spin and up - over.....
5) Any mud/dirt fell right out of the cleats
6) $110 for the pair. Easily worth it -

T, those will tear the yard up when you do a swirly.

 

I will say yes for sure take it real easy on the front yard, but in general didn't tear anything up. They dug in an gripped. Old tires would just spin, foot after food and actually looked WORSE on nice grass!

 

i hear ya. got those same turfs on my ZXT.... if you have a golf course yard they are great. if you got farm yard? slide all over.

just waiting to wear them out & then will go back to bar lugs. i never tore the yard up with them & they are spaced far enough apart that if you do a swirly you were more on the smooth than the lug.

did a tire almost identical to those & man i destroyed a lot of spots that she wasnt happy about. :-0

KR: more on that fill. man i got no clue or understanding why they built this that way. 50+ tons was pushing on that wall & 4' of that was above the ground line. thats a lot of compression & push on a wall.
what i did do today was go back & core fill all the blocks that are still there with it. couldnt hurt to help those other blocks from moving.
had a fella come today & get 3 tons, 1 neighbor took 15 tons, another took 5..... little by little getting the pile down.

 

Heading back out to the shop and going to try to put the rear hub assemblies on that @Lt. Dangle recommended on the B7100. Thanks man for helping me spend more money .

 

Rear hub assemblies done no wabbling anymore.
Plowed the garden then tilled it in.

Some of them have 2 screws as well. They suck compared to the revised hubs. I was gonna post this pic and ask you, but it sounds like you beat me to the punch lol.

Finally got my ZT hydros matched up and even. That has taken me way tooooo long to get balanced. Should help out in the long run.

I need to get a mulching kit for the deck instead of the chute 42” with the chute is too big for these city lots.

 

Do it! The mulching kit is a must!

I don't rake leaves as much now. The mulching deck and blades just pulverizes the leaves to dust.
