thanks, I believe you are correct.

Think this is what I’d need

    https://www.shocksurplus.com/produc...kit-for-2010-2021-toyota-4runner-4wd-w-1-lift

I look around hotshot some more, but don’t think they carry the Bilstein rear spring. I remember Jarod saying something about being good. However, I have read about others using the Eibach with the Bilstein and seems common.

I could color match the runner with those

However, looking at their site, I learned something else I need to research, panhard correction kit. Also when looking at their site, the rear coils they package with the Bilstein are OEM and the ones for 100 to 300lbs are 2.5 to 3 lift and I’d rather not go that high.

Didnt you have 1" selected in the front? I would think only lifitng 1" in the back wouldnt need a panhard correction.

You basically want the panhard to be as close as possible to level at ride height

Correct sir. The 6112 when used with the Bilstein spring, keeps the lifetime warranty with the 6112 through Bilstein. If a Eibach Spring is used instead it voids the warranty. I did a lot of research on this before I bought mine. A lot of people would say that they don't really care anyway but when you are looking at the longevity of ownership, I believe that it makes a huge difference. Hotshot offroad is really awesome though. I fully recommend @memario1214 as a vendor. Headstrong used to be the "go to" place but after the changed ownership a number of years ago, things slowly changed and not for the better customer service wise. I have not heard any good or bad things about Shock surplus. They may be the best place to go for your needs. I just have any experience with them. I think this is the same kit with Hotshot (without the rear spring of course):
    https://hotshotoffroad.com/collecti...kits/products/6112-5160-lift-kit-2014-4runner

PM @memario1214 and he can answer a lot of questions for you and get you what you need and recommend a ride height depending on your needs.

He also has more then listed on the website. I have been bothering him about either 14" 7100s or fox 2.0s. Just PM him, great to work with

Yeah rear lift springs, otherwise that’s just a leveling kit. I’d also recommend some nice UCAs.
And a PH relocate bracket yes, depending on lift height. Or adjustable PHB, also maybe adjustable rear control arms, depending on tire size and pinion angle.

Thoughts on if I put the dome lights of the cap to like a usb connection so I can put it to a battery pack?

pretty sure LEDs would take forever to kill the battery if I forgot, just kind of think it would be a neat project

Thanks folks, I’ll shop and research a bit more, but if the $$$ gets to much, I’ll hold off for now. However if it stays reasonable and I can get it here and installed before June, I’m willing to do it now.

Shock works is just what came up when I googled.

where I order will be based on money and known customer service. I do like that shock works has Affirm which will let me pay over time with no interest. And I have plenty of availability credit with them.

USB's are 5v. Youd need wither 5v lights or a buck converter to step down 12v to 5.

Could also just use a low voltage disconnect inline to your battery.

Also could use a power tool battery

The battery bank is kind of specific, I have these. They have Passthrough on them - while it's charging, it can also charge what's connected to it. I have it set up truck ignition port > Charger > Devices, that way it charges devices while the truck is off. While it's running, it's charging the bank and the device. Devices in the winter are dog light up collar/light up belt for me for walking at night, and during the summers it's my speaker I use for bike rides. Most chargers can only do one. Then on longer enough rides, for example an hour each way to our other plant, the bank tops up.

Now that I have the 100W solar, I am considering some other solutions too, but this has worked well for me for a couple years now.

And you could look at a switch, too, for lights. I don't have one.

Isn't yours set up for bed lights already?
If so, should be plug and play with cargo light.
I'm planning to set mine up that way eventually...

I only read 10% of that and ignored that you were in the bed/cap.

I still stand by the USB string lights and switch.

    But maybe this instead:
    https://www.amazon.com/25000mAh-Hil...prefix=solar+battery+bank,aps,113&sr=8-4&th=1

Full disclosure - I've seen some of these that are great, but I haven't a clue about that one specifically. But 6W is plenty to top up, and you could use it to charge your phone(s) overnight back there. Mount it in a window.

This is without going all in and doing a 20W on the roof, MPPT controller, and a lithium battery back there. And some 12V RV lights.

    https://www.amazon.com/Interior-CAP...82293&sprefix=12v+string+lights,aps,90&sr=8-5

All depends how much you use it and how much you want to go in on this shenanigans. If it's a 2-4 nights a year thing, F it, just a regular battery pack and a USB switch would be good. Every weekend? Maybe a dedicated panel and battery makes sense :notsure:

    Ah.
Well, in that case, easy. As you mentioned, use your M12s. Set the lights on a cig light plug, or a m12 plug. And keep a couple batteries handy.

And there used to be a Milwaukee one with a cigarette lighter, and a USB, if you can find it.

But, the below is cheap, and simple. Don't even need a switch.
