I also bought a new auto up/down switch for my passenger side when I did the swap and posted on this thread.
Switch the white and solid blue wires and the switch works just fine.

Ensure that you check your fuses and connections.
Additionally, I would pin out the new window switch for Continuity, to ensure that the contacts are working correctly.

I did all of that. The window goes up and down when controlled from the driver’s side. It just doesn’t work with the passenger side switch.

    Thanks for chiming in!

then de-pin the connector and put it back to the original wiring and see if the new window switch works with the old wiring

Thanks to both of you for the info. This was helpful. I’m humbled that folks that don’t even know me would take time to offer help. I’m so grateful.

I figured it out. It was a fuse that I missed the first time I checked.

I just completed this swap and all
Functions work but the backlight lighting is on even with head lights off. Is this normal?

For those that are doing this conversion, where are you buying the black trim piece that the switch assembly attaches to and snaps into the door panel?

When I purchased from car trim, all I got was the switches…the door lock and window lock are not the same shape or orientation so I can’t use my existing trim piece.

I bought mine on ebay. $13.50 for driver side. $22 for passenger. These are needed as part of this retrofit conversion. Not PnP.

Thanks, I was able to complete this mod. Switch lights turn on when truck is turn on, not switch controlled. It does turn it self off after a while. I cut the gray wire 8 pin and crimped a larger pin to insert it into 9 instead of “jumping” it. Everything works. Extra pins were purchase just in case.

Are people doing anything for the rear door window controls? Mostly thinking that I would want the bezel to be black to match the fronts after the swap

Now the question is, who's willing to make a few bucks on the side and make some harnesses?

What gauge wire did you use? Im on the site you posted and might pull the trigger on the supplies to do this. Also, what amount of each male/female pin did you purchase?

I use 16 gauge, I had that laying around but I think 18 would've been a better fit. Because shipping is $20, might as well get extra or make a group buy. Also received it in 2 days from Japan!

I ordered extra pins, you really only need:

    Passenger Side Pins:
    [Yazaki] 040 Type F terminal Non waterproof / F040[F040] x 3
    [Yazaki] 090 type [Sumitomo TS/ Yazaki 090II] series male terminal non-waterproofing /M090-SMTS[M090-SMTS] x 3

    Driver Side Pin:
    [Yazaki] 090 type [Sumitomo TS/ Yazaki 090II] series Female terminal non-waterproofing /F090-SMTS[F090-SMTS] x 1

Hey guys, I just did this mod to my truck yesterday. I have currently only done the driver's side. Weird thing happened though, everything works but the door lock indicator on the driver's door no longer works. I can hear the door lock when I push the door lock button, but the indicator on the door doesn't move. If I manually try to lock the driver's door the indicator/button on the door moves but doesn't do anything. I have even tried the door lock button on the passenger side and it does the same thing. Any ideas?
