Any guitar players on TW?

brought my ESP M-I back to life.
new trem studs, full rewire, and setup. plays like butter now.

 

Just bought this Godin 5th Avenue off a friend for $300 cdn

 

That thing must sound the part as much as it looks the part - what a great deal!

 

It had really old, dirty, rusty strings. The new d'addarios are really crisp. Gotta get used to them. Haven't even tried on an amp yet.
Tomorrow's a rainy day here. Hope to sit down with it for a while.
Nice addition to my setup. I started lessons when I retired, so just over 4 yrs into playing.

I had my eye on their strat for a long time. Only thing that kept me away was their proprietary 2 point trem which I wasn’t comfortable trusting to stay in tune or be replaced with a third party trem if it needed to be replaced. Their electric nylon string guitars look amazing and I would get one in the blink of an eye if I had that kind of money to spend.

Nuffin fancy but they are fun. The Strat is a poor boy version of Clapton’s Brownie. Martin X series acoustic and an Epiphone 59 Les Paul. For amps I have a Boss Katana and Fender Blues Deluxe

 

So this is an odd question, can I use a speaker from a guitar amp as a speaker in my truck? Build a box and put a car amp in front of it? I have a 12" Eminence speaker kicking around here somewhere.

might not sound the best... guitar speakers are pretty midrange heavy.

 

Ya this...to OP, plug a media device into your amp to play music. If that suits your tonal appetite then go for it.
