Pretty sure my front rotors are warped/out of round. Gonna replace them and pads soon.

Best brands of rotors to buy???

    Thanks, Pops

Use the fully coated ones and stick with a well known brand name. Power stop and Raybestos have worked well for me on my customers cars…..I’ve never had a complaint with either. Both brands use the “geomet” anti corrosion coating. I’ve also used Centric high carbon alloy on my personal car with good results.
More important (in my experience) is the pad you use.
Rock Auto has many varieties to choose from.

155K original rotors second set of pads. Very slight shake, I'll either turn the rotors or just preplace them next time. Living in the willy wags has it's merit when it comes to breaks.

Yes, Bosch is a huge OE supplier and they use a dacromite coating (spelling, sorry) that seems to hold up well.
Doesn’t mean they are actual OE parts but again, it’s a trusted name. All the OE rotors I see on FCA vehicles are Bosch and I see very few issues with them.

OEM rotors are only about 70 bucks, that's what I'd get (search for your online dealer parts house of choice). That's less than $10 per year, and it sounds like you've been satisfied with the performance.

For aftermarket, Napa auto parts has always been my go-to for brake parts (good value), but Rock Auto sounds like a good bet as well.

Before you do anything, check the thickness. The rotors themselves are unlikely to be your issue with so few miles (unless you have an extreme use case). If you did in fact warp these (or have material buildup, whatever), you're likely to have the same issue again of you don't fix the root cause.

OEM equipment, or Raybestos. You get what you pay for with brakes.

Rotors are cheap. Don’t turn them

Agree with OEM. Not overly expensive and last a long time.

You will be hard-pressed to find any place that turns rotors anymore for the following reasons:

    1) It takes too long - and time is money. It would take a shop tech an hour (15 minutes per rotor) to turn 4 rotors and yet only 10 minutes to install brand new ones. That is a labor cost that is difficult to pass on to customers at today's labor rates and so that becomes an operational loss for the shop owner.

    2) Shop owners would rather use the machine floor space for other things.

    3) Brand new rotors are so relatively inexpensive compared to the machining cost - especially if the true cost above is transferred to the customer, e.g., $25 machine cost per rotor, it is just as practical and cost-effective to just simply replace them.

Front pads, Akebono, which are used on Lexus OEM. My shop recommended them, and it was a stunning improvement over the Tacoma OEM pads. Like holy shit improvement.

Akebono's are a great choice. The name lacks recognition, but they are darn good.

Frozen Rotors are the best out there IMO.

There's a machine shop 3 miles from my house that turns rotors for $20. So $140 new versus perfectly fine turned rotors for $40. I'll let you do the math.

I can get mine done on Dover AFB for like $10/per.

The 2003 Honda Pilot I had...turned then twice before replacing them.
