Well stumbled upon a lil wiring issue… was wiring up a dust light and bumped the loom for the harness running down frame from cab to tank and tail lights. Further investigation found some melted wires. She was running fine with no issues

Anyone know the gauge of these wires and or have pdf of harness schematics?

Came out of driver side floor about b pillar and runs down inside frame rail to tank and some to rail lights.

Fixing it the right way should be the only way. TXL would be why they look so small, they are way smaller than 18 awg I use for my lights/race radio. Apparently I used GXL for all that.

still would like to find the schematic showing or calling out the gauge for this harness as there is a couple different sizes.

Looks like someone may have installed a higher amp fuse instead of fixing the short at some point.

Toyota does not provide information on wires size on their wiring diagrams, also wiring diagrams are broken down by system not by what's in a harness.

Wouldn't hurt to go up a size or two
Idk that I've ever seen a 1st gen wiring diagram with conductor sizes on it though
