I've heard really good things about this place, truckalterations.com. There's even special pricing for tacoma stuff on his website.

I ordered a Access LiteRider tonneau cover off the special pricing page and used Google Checkout to pay for the order because the site specifically said that's what they prefer.

I'm not really worried about getting them item instantly, but I ordered Thursday morning and it's still showing "Not yet shipped" on the Google Checkout status page.

I'm hoping this is a fluke and that it's already in transit, I heard a few people say they ordered on a Thursday and got Tuesday. I live in Texas, and he's shipping from NC.

I'm not yet worried, but just concerned. I'm hoping Google checkout is just not updating the status of the issue, but at this point I don't think my card has been charged and I have called a few times (once a day), but only got voicemails. I left a detailed VM, but I haven't heard back yet.

Any thoughts? Have you guys ordered from this shop lately? What have your experiences been? I'm really hoping everything will be fine cause I love the prices and there were a lot of good reviews about this place on this forum.

    Thanks for your time.

I ordered from them a few weeks ago (PopNLock tailgate lock). Good price, received it in about 1 week or so (to SoCal).

I contacted them about bent posts on the PopNLock I received and got a response the next day. I was able to install anyway without any problems.

My only transaction, but it went smoothly.

I ordered a grill craft grill from last sunday and have only received a email stating my order. I tried calling them and no answer. I pm'd them on here and no response yet.

I'm hoping perhaps they just are busy. Thanks for the responses guys. I'm off this week and would be very happy to get the bedcover before I have to leave town.

Just a quick update, I spoke to Truck Alterations today and my bedcover is en route. I'm happy again, I just wanted to hear from a human to make sure it was on it's way, and it is.

Much excitement. I'll post a pic when it's installed, but you guys know what to expect, i'll look like every other Sport DC with it :)

This place is in my hometown. I've been there before and the guy is usually always busy so I don't think there is anything to worry about. Besides truck alterations he runs a business that rents out uhauls and such from the same building thus being very busy.

Makes sense. It always seemed like a one-man-shop to me.

Thanks for the replies. I figured he was busy being a one-man show and all, and it seems everything is in order.

I intend to order more from him in the future.
