My 2007 Tacoma 2.7l came with an after market intake which I have removed and replaced with a stock one. I'm missing the stock hose that goes from the valve cover to the larger nipple on the back side of the intake tube. The aftermarket hose is not fitting properly (hence the hose clamp) and I don't have the original. Anyone know the Toyota part number for this guy highlighted in yellow?

Been searching parts diagrams all afternoon.

You should be able to take that intake cover to your local parts store to match the size and just have them cut you a piece of hose - it doesn't have to be anything special, and it will cost a couple bucks instead of whatever Mr. Toyota thinks he can get out of you.

    I tried that actually....

O'Reilly's and AutoZone didn't have anything.

I got some dishwasher drain hose from Lowe's as the closest thing I could find and then realized the nipples this hose is connecting are different sizes!
Plus the 90deg bend means a straight pipe folds and kinks closed.

    Annoying!

You can use a little heat to make a hose plyable to fit different sized nipples - until you get the right hose

I saw that and think it is most likely the right candidate...

I was uncertain because the diagram left me wondering where the other side terminated. Also the nipple on the valve cover seems to be in the wrong place. But on the positive side, there is a barb on the intake nipple, which points to the application of the included clamp.

    Thank you for this!

yes, maybe "outrageous" was too extreme, but shipping is generally more than the part.

I called a dealer yesterday and he quoted me $114 for "the" part, but I am sure we were talking about a different part.

Must be, did you give them the part number?

No, that was before I had a part number. Just tried to verbally explain it.

Shouldn't have been hard: "there are two hoses coming off the intake with the resonator. i need the larger one!"

    :)

Yea good parts people are about as hard to find as good shops/technicians and Toyota's parts lookup system is terrible, call them with the part number and get a price.
