Hello all, need help on where the heck this leak is coming from. It does not appear to be from the AC drain or windshield after spraying soapy water around the edges, and the AC drain is too low where the water is entering.
I popped the hood sprayed water all over the windshield and fire wall and pressurized the cabin inside and didn’t see any bubbling. The only thing I can think of is a piece that is missing here; however the cowel that attaches below where wipers are appear to cover it well where the water will drain to the side of the opening.

Thoughts on this? And, do you know the part number piece name this is missing?

    Thanks

    1. rumor has it around that the metal can crack. This can probably be tested.
There is no point starting there if you have not done other obvious things first.

    2. there is no cover. That is not a good design. So I got PELE 3D printed kit which has a cover shield and mesh sides.

    3. idk if there's drains to check and clear. Cars usually have them. Worth to check.

    4. There is a TSB saying there have been 4 redesigns on the cowl. Due to a gap. Mine has a gap to let water in.
    New one is $300+
My solution? Clean strip of waterproof black tape over the gap.

I’d start by taking a look at the link in post #2 and make sure the drainage channel isn’t clogged by debris. Been a few threads I’ve seen where that’s been the cause of the leak. Make sure you inspect/change your cabin air filter.
