Does the 2020 SR have the wiring harness for the rearview mirror?

I want to get the dashcam that plugs into the wiring for the mirror, but my mirror doesn't have the compass and electric. So at the factory do they wire all the trucks up the same and the SR models still have the wire for the rearview mirror up under the headliner so I can just tap into that for using a dashcam? I just don't want to have to run a wire from the center console all the way to the headliner. It would take me a week to figure out how to get the wire up there and there's airbags and such obstacles in the way. Or it needs to get wires from the fuse box to the headliner and that could take a week. So is there a plug up there already?

I am not positive on this (probably should be by now), but there is a 24 pin connector up there you might be bale to grab power off of? I can tell you that not all trucks have the same harness. I believe the OR uses 23 of those spots, while the SR uses 8. @caribe makaira might be able to help you more though, he is the resident wiring deity.

Ok. Thanks. How do I contact them? I figured if I yank on the sunglass holder and light thing in the middle of the headliner it would come out, but I don't want to break anything.

Yeah, just give it a firm tug, it will come out. And Caribe will probably drop in on us at some point with a detailed drawing :)

Ok. Thanks! I was looking for wiring diagrams and just figured they would wire all the trucks up the same and then just tuck the wiring harness under the headliner and just not use it for the lower models. But I am just trying to install a dashcam as easy as I can without running a wire all around the truck.

I can't confirm that 100%, but if they are there they'd be taped to the harness. Kinda difficult to see if you don't remove the overhead console and tale a peak. The other way would be to remove the sail panel and look at connector IN1 to see if the wires are there. They usually are routed into the bottom, but if not available in the overhead they are missing from the top mating connector of IN1.

Thank you much. I will pull the overhead console out and take a look.

No problem, but check the IN1 connector to see if the wires #13 & #14 come out the top towards the overhead. Much easier than a looksie of a tapped connector to the harness in the overhead.

If I may suggest, check out FITCAMX. It is 100% plug and play, takes less than 5 minutes to install and looks completely OEM.
