Rear Seat Delete Decks

Looks great! Man, I really like those recessed latches. That might be something I go back and add in later. The thumb holes I cut definitely don’t look as clean.

 

Put two rollaway bags over the delete placed the 18x18" x60" cat carrier with litter box and 40 hours later in Utah.

I decided to build a 40% platform for my fridge. 18”x28” out of some 3/4” sq tube I had in the garage. Planning on skinning it and doing some kind of rubberized coat of paint. It’ll be mounted to the stock seat locations and easy enough to put the seat back if need be. And a small little door instead of a tilt deck. I’ll post finished pics in a week or two.

Anyone ever use textured Durabak on plywood? I assume if prepped right.. things should go smoothly.

Interesting fact: The 4th Gen's have a lot more interior features to contend with compared to 3/2 Gens. This forces the seat delete to be 5" taller than the ones for 3/2 Gens, about 4" shallower and the width is around the same length.
