    Hey all,

just had some Fox 2.5 performance elite series shocks installed and I love the ride improvement. Any advice on breaking them in and preventative maintenance? Bodies are aluminum (i think?) so I assume they won’t rust as bad as the factory bilsteins that were on there. Also I know these are rebuildable but not sure around when it should be done or exactly how often. I love in OK where we see little snow/ice but they salt roads when we do see it (typically 20-30ish days a year)
    Any advice is appreciated

    cheers

I would exercise the adjuster knob every month. Replace the lower mount bolts with 4runner ones so that it doesn't have the step down on the bolt, this will allow the spherical lower mount bearings to last longer.

for adjuster knob you are referring to the high and low speed controls?
As for the lower bolt mounts I am not familiar with where those would be located since I did not install them. Could you help me identify where they would be or where i could get the 4runner ones?
