Shop Time w/T.W. Friends

My brother in law did something when he was young, his dad was talking to someone and he went up to him and told him his arm hurt. FIL told him to walk it off. His collar bone was broke

Good morning shop crew, have a great Friday

 

In Jr High, my thumb was kicked so it bent 90 degrees backwards just above the knuckle. School nurse said it’s just my nail. Went the rest of day like that til my mom came home arounf 5:00. Went to the newfangled walkin center the next town over and yup, it was broken. I can still hear the pop when they reset it.

My parents weren’t the litigious types but the incompetence and negligence that day could have been our ticket out of the lower middle class

 

We let the chickens out to eat some grass yesterday and a couple got on the steps.








And one on the roof.

 

Heard a chopper and got a couple pics, has Lucas Oil on the side of it. No wonder their oil is so cheap

 

Well, neighbor guy is parked infront of my house again. I have today off.. so I should be able to go talk to him after my morning coffee and whatnot

 

My buddy ask me if I could get a broke bolt out of his miter saw, I said bring it over. I figured I knew how it broke but ask him anyway. He said it wouldn't come out so he put his 1/2" impact on it.

I said you know it's left hand thread don't you? He said oops.

I took a pick and it came right out

 

Call tow truck. Tell them its an abandon vehicle

 

Wife caught me lacing up my boots and asked, where I was going on my day off? Cause it better not be to yell at the neighbors.

So I got a talking toabout how except for the parking they are perfectly fine neighbors and I need to just deal with it..

 

I got started on making the piece to hold all 4 mailboxes, I been needing to talk to the guy who lives at the very end of our driveway so I went to see him yesterday.

I knew he wouldn't mind but wanted to talk to him to make sure.

I told him what I wanted to do and he said I don't care what you do, you got the driveway looking dang good.

He told me 3 or 4 times do whatever I wanted, he didn't mind at all.

I like having good neighbors.

Id park my vehicle there when they leave

 

I hate it when she does that

For now I guess I'll just stand at the door and mutter to myself over my coffee

 

I do too but I walk away and think about how right she is. Drives me nuts
