Ambient air harness

2015 Tacoma TRD has ambient air and gps in radio need to find harness to activate

 

Radio lists the options on screen
Need wiring harness to allow temp and gps to function

 

There is no live ambient temp in the radio on any 2nd gen, the temp display in the radio uses HD radio signals if they are available in your area.

Earlier models had the compass/temp in the rearview mirror and prior to that a separate unit in the overhead console but this option ended somewhere between 12 and 14.

Not sure about Nav but very few 2nd gen tacos came with nav.

You have a picture of your radio unit? Nav units have an SD card slot.

 

I have been in HD areas with out any luck
It’s an option on my radio screen but was not included on build list
My thought is let’s say I have in wrecked the vehicle and damaged the harness how do I replace it

 

There is no ambient temp sensor connected to the radio nor is there and ambient temp signal going to the radio, there is an ambient temp sensor but it is only connected to the A/C Amplifier and it's sole purpose is to tell the A/C Amplifier the air temp for it to decide if the A/C is needed or not.

Not sure how you concluded it's possibly a damaged harness but take a look at post #10 here, it seems to no longer be a supported feature:
