Hello, I hope I didn't miss a thread on this. I have a new head unit I'm installing and wonder where is a good place to tap in for for the backup camera (the wire is supposed to go to the backup light wiring).

Is there somewhere under the hood where I can access the backup ight circuit to activate the reverse camera?

Thanks in advance on any tips!

    Oh, I forgot:

2008 ACLB, no premium stereo, AT, 4WD, says TRD on the side. Any other info needed to answer where to get to the reverse light wiring?

There is no backup lamp switch on an auto, it is part of the Park/Neutral Switch on the side of the transmission.
The easiest place to access the reverse circuit is probably gona be Connector IH1 behind the glovebox.

Picture for reference, your wire colors will be slightly different from the picture, reverse wire should be the one circled in Blue. It will be a Red/White wire on yours.
