Installed a roof rack today. So far I hear no noise from it going 65 on the interstate.

Further tour through Utah into Colorado. Drove to the Bentonite hills and got to do my first mild water crossing. Spent time in The Maze of Canyonlands. Also drove the Schafer trail to Moab with the sun setting (interesting experience when it gets dark) and checked out Black Canyon NP in CO amongst other things.

Front and rear diff, transfer case and transmission fluid changes. Finally upgraded the front diff hardware to the Lexus plugs.

Need to order more retrofit parts to fix a headlight issue *again

Lowered my tire pressure a bit for winter, topped off washer fluid and power steering fluid.

    resealed lower oil pan

    to my surprise
    1. dirty inside
    2. some debris at pickup screen

surprising because I don't know where the debris came from
and my heads looked brand new when I pulled the valve covers

So I'm not sure if this is normal, or means I should up my OCI from 5k syn to something like 2.5k or 3k
which would not bother me as oil is cheap or free

Finished buttoning up the rear bumper yesterday. I still need to remount the flares but I need to repair a couple of the mounting points on the insides of both rears. Was planning on trimming both front and rear while they were off but think that might wait until spring. Also repainted the grill surround and emblem. Gave it a quick bath this morning.

You the original owner? Could do an engine flush. If you’re using synthetic 5k oil changes are perfectly fine.

    not original owner
    already did a flush

have thought about doing another with a different brand, and/or additive

who knows maybe it's normal to see it in that area not looking the cleanest
or oil becoming black quickly which is normal, and causing that

I installed the Wheeler's U-bolt flip kit with Superbumps today. I also cut off the tailpipe just after the axle and painted the end of it with high-temp black spray paint. Next up is some 275/70/17s.
