ARB Dual Compressor Wiring Help

Sorry to bother you guys. I’m OCD and have a need to keep all of my switches the same. I have yet to pull the trigger on a switch pros and am currently trying to wire my arb dual compressor. I have the wiring of the power to the battery done but need help with wiring the harness to the switch. I am using an OEM style switch that has a backlight features available on it. I don’t plan on using the switches for air lockers and strictly just need the isolation switch wired. I am not using the switch that comes supplied from ARB. Any and all help would be appreciated. FYI my switch has two reds, a green, and black wire.

 

Can you give us the brand switch?

I'm just running a single compressor and nothing else but here's a crude schematic of my wiring, I have my switch light wired to come on when the switch is on but if you want it like the other switches just tie the red #2 wire into the dimmer circuit instead.

 

I used this drawing to wire up my ARB dual. I use an Auxbeam controller, but the overall concept is the same: You've got some variety of relay down in the engine bay. If you bring the purple wire high (~12v nominal), the arb compressor's relay kicks on and the compressor powers up.

The drawing you embedded will work out.

 

How does this work if you have a CH4x4 Dual Switch?

I was going to split a stock switch into two.

Where I need to add a relay is confusing. Do I need to add one to the stock switch side of the circuit? Pretty sure the ARB already has one in it so I don’t know that side.

On the dual switch the black and yellow is easy peasy. Blue would go to purple on compressor. Red goes to power side of relay or is that ignition, like the green wire on the single switch diagram?

 

I've got a GX460 and followed the advice of the crew here, but I'm still running into issues, with my ARB Twin Compressor.

I had it wired as per this diagram except Red 2 was going to illumination:
