    Hey Everyone,

I am looking for some info on batteries. My is in need of replacing. I want to increase the reserve capacity of the new battery. A battery's reserve capacity (RC) is the amount of time it can supply a constant load before its voltage drops to a certain level. OEM is 130 RC. Was hoping someone would have a part number or other info. My main concern is the physical size of the battery. I want to be sure it will fit and connections are oriented correctly. 150 RC would be good. Thx

Slightly = 10.5. To 12.5. And about .5 on the other 2 dimensions. Not sure why change but if you really want to upgrade AGM for more $$$.

it really depends on what you're doing, but if you're finding yourself constantly drawing down the main battery all the time, it would really be better to run a second battery on a charging/isolation circuit, so you can use that second battery for your main off-time draw, without affecting your starting battery.

it's also not healthy for most batteries to be drawn down extremely low all the time, but deep-cycle batteries that work well for that don't make the best starting batteries.
