    Bed rack. Tent. Steel bumpers
    Gents,
I live in Alaska and I've gotten some fun road trips in here so I'm turning my truck into a bit of an overlanding rig. However I've noticed between the steel bumpers and bed rack/tent it clearly. Needs some upgrades on the suspension. Anyone have similar projects and recommendations on lifts and suspension upgrades?

First thing you'll have to explain to get some responses is the extent of stock suspension you have right now with the weight of front and rear bumpers and bed rack tent, and how it is maintaining as is. Stock leafs are so weak, it must be sitting level at best or ass down.

Nothing changed when I put on my rear steel bumper, side bars and Bull Bar, and I dont carry much weight in the rear (too often), but I'm guessing anything "top heavy", like a camper changes all the rules.

If I were into camping/overlanding, I would just pull a trailer, but my needs may be different than other members. Then I wouldn't need to change my suspension anymore than I need to now.

I do have a 2/1" lift now with a 1" block in the rear, but never needed to include an AAL. Even when it was stock, I didn't have the need to improve my suspension, so I think it all goes back to how much weight you need to carry anything "top heavy".

    Just for historical perspective. :D
