Bought the truck with 100,500 miles. Hyundai did “full service” which is I’m assuming oil change and new filters all around. I just took out stock air filter and put in a K&N. Stock filter was clean as can be after around 3500 miles. I just hit the 104,000 mark and I’m starting to think about oil change and so on and everything to do that the dealer probably didn’t. What services should I do and what oil should I put in it. Truck still runs perfectly zero complaints.

If you haven't thrown it away yet, save your stock filter and use while your K&N is drying out.
I use mobil 1 0-20 wt . Look for it to go on sale at Costco.
Prolly want to change your differentials, transfer case, and transmission fluids.
Did you get a print out of what service they did?

Stock (99.999%) OEM Bed Floor Mat, Front Bed Rail Cargo Net and hooks, Auto-Dim mirror w/Compass and outside Temperature display, TRD Pro Grille, Uni-Filter air pump modification, WeatherTech floor liners f/r. (winter) OEM All-Weather floor mats (summer).
Agree with others on the Air Filter. If it had an OEM Toyota one in it, put it back in:even a Fram or a no-name Autozone Special would be better for it.

I would add a power-steering fluid change, and a transmission fluid drain and re-fill to your list. Use whatever oil and viscosity (engine, transmission, diffs, xfer case and power steering) is specified in the owner's manual and use an OEM Toyota oil filter. Beware of counterfeit Toyota parts on the web.

Throw the K&N filter in the trash and replace it with a standard paper filter. They do a terrible job of filtering air and only provide minimal gains in performance when the engine is running 5000-6000 rpm. No help at all with fuel mileage. In short if you're building a race car to run at the local dirt track a K&N might give you 1-2 mph more top end speed. Which might make a difference on a racetrack. They are a poor choice for your Tacoma.

I don't think oil brand matters. Use a decent quality synthetic and change it every 5000-10,000 miles.

    Welcome to the forum :hattip:

If you don't have documentation I would change all fluids including the brake and coolant.
Any major brand fluids that meet the published specifications are fine.

Agree with the other posters, the K&N isn't an upgrade, the Tacoma uses the same air filter as the 5.7 V8 Tundra, if it can supply the V8 with 60% more displacement I believe it is adequate for the Tacoma. ;)

Yep. BTDT with K&N on another vehicle... Had to clean the airflow sensor, and replace the (clogged-up) O2 sensors at 60K miles because of dust the filter was letting through (the whole intake had a crusty coating of black dirt all over the inside of it... Wish I had gotten a pic). Junk.
