Yeah I pm'd Jasonslawncare as he has the SW EPi9.0s. You can get it to fit pretty easy by trimming one support and removing the bar under the grill. I called Viking Winchline asking about he EPi and moving the solenoid, they said the only option is to go with the EP. Only difference is integrated solenoid or not.

assuming you have the same amount of room that the cbi has. I'm sure they are all very similar I just don't want anybody to get it on this pretense and get screwed.

I like the superwinch snatch block

I like it a lot. It's worked flawlessly when I've needed it and the synthetic line is awesome.

Did you buy the model that already had the line or did you get that line after the initial purchase?

they do. The i is for integrated. If it's just an EP then it's the non integrated model.

So If I go with the epi with the synthetic line I saw them for roughly 900 shipped, is that a little high?

Wait for it on Amazon for 750 or less shipped...right now it says 900, and the other day it was 739.

yeah that's too much. Amazon's prices on them fluctuate like crazy. I've seen them for as low as $700 there. Rusty's has it for $750, not sure if that's with shipping though.

Well the line itself is about $200 so in theory yes but I would wait for the winch to go down in price.

Not sure, I haven't been keeping up with the prices of the new talon series but my conclusion on them is

"The solenoid is also sealed on the epi winch. As far as I can tell the difference between the models is the Talon has a 5.2 horse motor while the epi has 4.6. What I find interesting is the Talon is faster unloaded but the epi is faster loaded and also has less amp draw both loaded and unloaded. The bottom line-both will do the job great and I doubt the difference would be noticeable."

    From my pm to singlefin

So the only reason I was really looking in to the Talon series is because of the fact they are "totally sealed" according to the website. I am more worried about that than anything else. I really just want a solid winch, sealed, and that has synthetic line.
