Finished the heaters this last weekend. Turned out pretty clean but had to do some studying and pretty much get my YouTube University and TW degree to complete. Thanks to this thread and a few others! Turned out clean and I’m happy with the results. A snowball to the mirror melted off! Let me know if my album link to pictures doesn’t work. I just started creating albums and new to using them. I’ll make sure it’s not set to private.

What timer or regulator did you use for the mirrors? I forgot if i posted photos of mine or not but have mine wired up with everything. the vled pigtail and wiring that came with the floor kits made the puddles super easy. I have wiring ran for the heaters but have not hooked up the heaters to power or added the timer etc.

I did not use a timer. I wired power from an AAF in the cabin fuse box and used a click in/click out switch underneath the AC controls. For the backlight I tapped into the gauges fuse which allows the words on the bottom, half of the switch to stay lit at all times, however, it does not dim with the gauge dimmer, but I am OK with that. The top half that shows the mirror icon is off until I push the switch in. I believe I ordered that switch on Amazon

ah ok cool If the switch should have 2 wires. For the switches in the AC controls, I believe green is on, and green/black is the dimmer. I recall you have to wire both one for power and one to dim.

I may end up doing the same and just go on/off on a switch. Looks good. I have no free switches there but i got some ideas.

would love to get the Mirror Adjust Switch Kit. Tried emailing you @ tacomirrors@hotmail.com but haven't heard back. Are they still available? I have a 2015 taco off road manual and love it. Hoping to install this kit on it. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

so without going through ALL 97 pages is there a actual parts number somewhere for the switches and other items to build a set? how hard is it to add the turn indicator or light in the backside of mirror?

Buy 4Runner mirrors. The first page should have most of what you need. You can buy aftermarket mirrors and swap your OEM motors. The 2010 - 2012 4Runner has the mirror and puddle lights. Or if you only want blinkers you can get Tacoma sport mirrors. not worth it to cut them in. My setup has OEM internals in aftermarket housings. I then swapped them blinker for a sequential smoked version.

I could be wrong but the switch I don't believe sets the time. I have one of the kits installed in mine and it utilized i think a 5-5-5 timer to set between 5, 10, or 15 minutes

You are correct, the kit switch is out of a Camry and used the mirror fold switch option on it. But the switch had to be modified by taking a spring out of it to make it momentarily, op had a detailed plan for it. The timer was electronic and could be set to 5 min increments. I don’t think the timer is available anymore as I have googled it and nata. Mirrors were Toyota sienna.

I'm on the same boat, couldn't find that specific timer but that doesn't mean any other timer wouldn't work. Do you guys know if a simple timed relay will work? found this one that is a possibility. From what I read you can set it between 2-15mins.

Feesquivel I would say that it should work, but I would bench test it before installing. The original timers were solid state not the points type relay that this is. I looked around on google and digikey appears to sell something similar, original company that sold then appears to no longer exist.
