Recently, I saw a post for another tailgate anti-theft device.

I thought it was a clever and simple product. And for the asking price, it was a no-brainer purchase to add another level of difficulty for anyone trying to steal my tailgate.

My tailgate has a TRD style spoiler that was from a small batch run. It is also has the Bulletproof Fab storage conversion and holds some accessories. Getting my tailgate stolen would be a triple punch to the gut.

The device is simple in design. It's a metal bracket/tab that is secured in place with existing bolts. The raised edge on the bracket keeps the tailgate cable from being removed. If you cant remove the cable, you cant remove the tailgate.

Tailgate opens and closes without any interference with the device installed.

Thanks for the shout out! Glad you like your tailgate anti-theft doohickey. I’ve only made passenger side one so far but there’s no reason I can’t to driver side as well. Just sayin. Thanks again!
