i ended up grabbing this recently...ran into a 20% off and i have heard good things.
$422 out the door, 10,000 engo with synthetic, 68lb, putting it in trail gear tube bumper when i catch a sale over there
(tripped over lawnmower carrying box almost buckled taillight and bed corner, but got lucky)

The charging / electrical will handle it fine. I'd look into this so you don't have always connected power to the winch. This kit from a member makes it super simple to install. I use the blue sea switch on my other vehicle as well.

for that kit, someone on the main tw thread said do you leave it normally open which was weird, then the creator agreed but said its the opposite, turn it on if you know heavy wheeling and prob need to use winch, which makes sense. can you confirm you leave it switched off under normal conditions and turn it on if anticipating going to use it?
at this point of product life cycle is it understood this is a good alternative to the and/or relay option?
im prob buying this product when i hook my winch up

    Same crap everyone else got
Few years back I was able to get them to do a group buy. You would have to find I think it was 10 total to be involved. Took me a week to do it but it happened.
