    Tacoma 2019 SR
    I just changed my cabin filter and it looks like the engine cabin padding/ insulation got into the cabin filter fan? can anyone explain how this happened?

    You pulled out that hort mess of a rodent nest and you don't how a little bit of ithe engine bay nsulation got in there? :confused:

    Check your wiring and look for damage like in these pictures. Not having any trouble codes is a good sign.

    If you remove the blower motor from underneath you should be able to see if the rodent chewed through the top plastic guard. It’s a black very thin plastic grill which rats or larger rodents can get through. It doesn’t really guard anything except leaves. I’m about to throw a metal mesh plate right on top of the plastic crap from factory.
