    Good day Tacoma friends
We just returned from a 3'200 miles trip with our 2018 gen-3 Tacoma towing a 3,500lbs camper trailer. The truck is outfitted with the factory "towing package". All went well however, the Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) Post-Converter oil temperature frequently ran above 200°F especially when climbing mountain passes. I am now planning on getting the transmission oil changed (Odometer reading: 62,500miles) and to install a supplemental transmission oil cooler.
    My questions:
    - Do you have any recommendations of what cooler (brand and model) to install?
    - Should this supplemental cooler be installed in series to the existing cooler or in lieu of?
    - Do you have a picture of your supplemental cooler installation?

Thank you in advance for sharing your thoughts!

its just the cooler, so you will need to make brackets.

    Isn’t normal between175 and 225 when towing?

Yeah, but any prolonged towing temps at 220 or higher I would be changing the fluid a lot more frequently.
