i just had 20% put on my front 2 and 35% on back sides and back window on my 07 dc yesterday and it came out perfect. i was worried 20 all around would be too dark to see out at night so this solved my problem and looks great

Just made an appointment to get 20% all the way around.
85$ from a guy that has been doing it for 22 years and lifetime warranty as long as I own the vehicle.

I had 30% put on my fronts a couple weeks ago and it's slightly lighter than the stock tint on the rear windows, but it's legal and close enough to the rear windows. It looks a hell of a lot better than no tint at all.

20% front, factory rear windows, back is 4% over factory tint

knock on wood not pulled over yet (for tint)

but my time will come ... the cops generally notice when its overcast (last 3 tint tickets were this way ... plus i roll with my windows down a lot

my last truck was also 20% front and this guy either uses way better film, put darker shit on, or the last truck the guy put lighter shit on

I can't help you decide on percentage of tint, but I can recommend a great place to get it done.
Signature tint in Costa Mesa. They are amazing.

I really can't say enough about them. Tell them Shane and Lori sent you, I am curious if her will remember us. We had our MINI Cooper tinted by Dave and he really really treated us well.

The shop that did mine, Midnight Window Tinting , put 20% tint on my fronts. It is super close to the factory rears and looks awesome. They were really nice to deal with - anybody in the Seattle area should check them out. The only minor issue is that with my Snugtop shell and all the tinted windows it is tougher to see while backing up at night. Maybe time for a reverse light mod?

There was a guy I went to school with who had 5% all around with a 5% strip 1/4 of the way down the windshield, AND 35% on the windshield! I can't count how many times he almost ran into something/someone leaving school. His dad was some kind of big wig and he could get away with anything.

FYI...window tint is only illegal in CA on the front driver and passenger side windows. The rears can be as dark as 5%. I have 5% all the way around, including my front windows. I've been dinged with a fix it ticket once for them, but luckily a good friend of mine is a cop and just signs my fix it tickets off without actually fixing them. I will say, driving at night can be tricky sometimes...usually its the parallel parking that gets me, but nothing rolling your windows down for a moment won't fix.
