Does that mean you second the bearing/bracket? I do agree there is an off noise…. I’m also seeing that inner pulley wobbling.

That new csp sure looks sweet spinning down there, kristi

I will listen for any odd noises
Sometimes it seems hard to tell with the 5VZFE if it's normal or abnormal

But definitely do NOT want this bearing in the bracket to seize and break!

Ok. So I just attempted to spin the fan & whilst I can turn it, that’s it. No 1”, 2”, etc, post rotation, so if I’m correct that there should be some kind of post turn spin/movement, I’m thinkin I need to replace the fan clutch. Also I imagine this would take a toll on the pulley bracket.

Kristi, are you going to check the oil in the fan clutch first, maybe it just needs some new oil in there?

Ha-ha! Great! New one on me! Guess I’ll look that one up. It’s got 265,000 on it. I can force push it with one finger, but it’s got a good amount of resistance. Absolutely no free wheelin. I stop pushin’, it’s more than happy to stop. Other thing is my ac was not blowing out cold air anymore. I guess I’ve not made the connection between the ac & this fan clutch (as opposed to the ac clutch). Maybe they work together & I’ve got a whole nother thing to learn & maybe I can have ac back! Anyways, thank you. I can check the oil once I figure out where it goes.

Probably best just to put a new part on
...just curious what the oil is like or if any had weeped out
That utube video piped in post #9 shows how to split that part open to clean and add new oil

From your FC pix definitely some seepage going on
I saw some video where dude RR’d his oil
IIRC, that little eye dropper bottle of oil was crazy expensive….like had/made from rhino sperm expensive

    agree with black97
    Would just RR

Maybe for fun I’ll do that later. Thanks for posting it. Do you know how often it’s supposed to be done?

Not one idea of any interval! Maybe if you notice it weeping and not working properly :notsure:
Toyota may even sell the special OEM oil for it still?

no idea what a fan bracket is...
Doesnt the fan clutch, pulley, mount to the actual water pump, just like every other vehicle engine?
Did you have the timing cover off?
Could that scraping sound be from cover not properly positioned, maybe overtightened & scraping?

dont waste your time trying to replace fanclutch fluid....
    if theyre leaking, replace...

I was hoping you would delve into this issue, I don’t completely understand how it works, I know you’ll post what you learn.
