I'm looking for a set of front door sill protectors that wrap over to protect the edge. Any good recommendations?

One of the last things I'd want in that area is anti-slip/grit tape- I tried it, once, on my first Tacoma thinking it would be handy. It collects mud and road dust, gets it on the back of your pants (sucks if you're wearing a suit or uniform) and also rubs on bare legs (I hate long pants). The really bad part is I tried it on my rock rails on the current truck, which of course stick out further than the sill, (again thinking it would make standing on the round tubes to secure kayaks safer and easier)- that was even dumber and lasted about two days although there is a small strip back on the kick out part in front of the access cab part that works out OK although I need to replace it; bottom right in the picture). I'm obviously a slow learner. :homer: The grip tape doesn't hold up well when you hit it with a pressure washer either, even with the pressure turned down. Another :homer: for good measure.

I can't remember who makes the plastic ones I put on shortly thereafter, I want to say Weathertech, but they're not on their website now except for newer trucks. Mine look similar, wrapping over the edge, two overlapping pieces spanning the length of the opening (access cab). These look similar but for newer trucks https://www.weathertechwholesale.com/sillprotector-toyota-tacoma.html ). I remember I purposefully looked for ones with actual 3M tape on them, cleaned the area well, and they've been on since around 2006 without issue- definitely one of my better purchases. I checked my Amazon purchase history and don't see them so not sure where I got them.

The black plastic parts along the edge. Yes, I need to clean my truck.

I have the OEM ones. They look good but offer no protection around the edges.
