Running boards , changed headlight and fog lights to LED, replaced taillights with smoked taillights, and auto vent shades x 4
2013 Pre runner changed halogen lights to LED. I don't suggest it cuz have had nothing but trouble. Drove home 60 miles from work last night with no headlights. Was ok in city but when I got to the country you know it was pretty hard to see. My orange parking lights lit it up a little. Back to original halogens

Found a set of urd cam gears for a good deal. installed them today / Truck is tuned and has bolt ons. Idle is a lot quieter and better throttle input while cruising. Can’t complain for the price I got them for compared to what I would have spent on it in Canadian dollars.

How was the trans fluid change? I just picked up a couple jugs of ATF and planning on doing a flush soon.

    Just some stuff...
You just inspired me to do the same. My driver's side was filthy! It's still damp right now. Hopefully it comes out half as good as yours. Took some serious scrubbing to get the color back. I should've taken a before pic.

honestly not bad. I procrastinated it for months because the whole temp/fluid check thing seemed intimidating.

used the Scanguage instead but the process is still similar. My only advice that’s not explicitly stated elsewhere is go ahead and fill with 4 QTs or whatever is extra within reason. You’ll remove any excess in the last step regardless and, after my first fill I needed to add more which was more inconvenient than anything.

also worth mentioning, atleast in FL where it’s hot. It takes a while for the trans temp to come back down, like hours. I think doing the standard temp check mode procedure would’ve been very confusing. After 45 min my trans fluid was still over 105F. All the more reason why one fill is best. All the info you need is right here on the forum! But happy to be of any help if I can. If you use a gauge like I did, be sure to note that check temp in the original sticky post 1 is incorrect.

I think the cam gears are only worth it if you have to change your valve cover gaskets lol. This is my second time installing a set and it’s not bad at all. Line up your timing marks and mark your chain .i just held the cam with a 15/16 wrench and I have a long 17 gear wrench and crack them loose. Re check your marks and remove the gear and re install.

Replaced a bad rear u-joint. Changed it with an Amazon ball joint press with drive shaft still attached to truck. Success!

The same shit everyone else has.
Quick little camping trip this weekend

    upload_2025-4-21_15-27-55.jpg

I knocked my alignment out again driving around in the woods.

I absolutely despise the front end design of these trucks.

I thought I got all my problems sorted out by replacing the LCA cams/hardware with cam deletes.

I blasted a pretty big hole and the steering wheel is off by about 15* now.

Either I flattened a cam tab, an SPC upper balljoint slid, or something is bent.

Gettin pretty tired of dealing with this shit.

I gotta crawl under it tonight and look.

Next step is replacing EVERY suspension component and starting 100% fresh.

Maybe don't "blast" big holes? It isn't a baja truck.

More mods than it should have...
I used 3M super 77 spray adhesive because I already had a few cans and it's held up fine with the heat inside the shell so far.

LOVE the lighting set up. What lights did you go with or are they custom?

I can’t believe I never thought of that

    Right side SPC balljoint moved.

    Reset the camber.

    Retorqued the hardware.
