My 2013 JBL Tacoma head unit says its hooked up for phone calls and music. Phone calls are fine but when I try to listen to music through Bluetooth in just continuously keeps searching. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Does music work with a cable connection to the phone?

Sorry I don't remember the complete steps but I was having Bluetooth drop out and going through the menus I found a menu that had a check for Bluetooth power. Unchecked it and of course then I couldn't turn it on again. Kept trying and finally it checked again and Bluetooth now has a steady connection.

I couldn't get anything to happen. I turned the ignition on. After the radio powered up I pressed APPS. Then turned the lights on and off three times. Nothing happened. Tried multiple times. Starting from step one. Maybe a different head? Mine is the JBL with navigation.

I tried a few more times and was able to get to the diagnostic page. I had high hopes but it is still saying "please wait" and doesn't go any further.
