it's been a long while since i put any love into my tacomas, and i'm rusty on navigating to finding the info i need.

on my 2017 limited, i need to replace this driver side rear corner bumper cover, and probably the clips and whatnot for both securing it to what's underneath and for attaching the proximity sensors.

i've been using my 2012 for the last few years while my LTD sat waiting for me to be ready to get it to the shop for fixing an unrelated issue. it's gonna be towed in on friday, so now's the time.

i just need help identifying the parts. and recommendations on where to buy. i've been looking on the toyota parts center, but having a hard time sifting though to find what i need, essentially, the exact part names and numbers. would be ideal if i could get it in MGM, but if not, there is a pretty great auto body shop near me. they painted the topper i got years ago and did a great job.

i'm assuming i'm gonna need new tires as well, so i'll also be haunting this site for new wheel ideas. the graphite sema pros i put on the reg cab look sick as hell... don't really want to get the exact same ones for the LTD, but it's gonna be tough to find something that beats the grey/grey combo.

pic isn't my truck, just for reference.

ETA: how do i get the pic to show in the thumbnail beside the thread title?

Check out Taco Vinyl for the end caps...they come in your paint code and are pretty darn close to factory. https://tacovinyl.com/products/standard-tacoma-bumper-caps?variant=39645323919536

As for what else you will need, we would need to know the extent of damage to your truck. There are some fiberglass supports under the caps that hold the BSM modules and then a steel support that spans the width of the bumper as well as some plastic pieces. No telling what yours would need without either having a shop estimate it or tear it down yourself to see what is bad/bent/broke.

Thank you! i was just about to order an unpainted one... this saves a ton of hassle.

and fair enough, i imagine my truck will still be in the shop when i get the bumper cap from Taco Vinyl and they can help me from there.

Make sure you get the correct bumper caps for your truck. The paint match on the bumper cap I ordered from them was excellent.

The corner part is just held on by the two inserts underneath. Can't really tell how it was affixed at the top, or what the little metal and plastic clip to the right was. Aside from connection points, it doesn't seem like anything else was damaged.
