I am a little confused about this, the tires are the same size..both 265 70 R16. Will the rims
fit my 2008 Tacoma? I need new rims and the rims come with tires that are still good.
.....Thanks for any thoughts on this

I am almost 100% sure they are interchangeable.

Yep. 2005 - 2023 6 Lug x 139.7 (5.5 inch) wheels are interchangeable. As are most 4Runner wheels of similar/respective generations with the same lug pattern.

Edit: I have 2019 Takeoffs on my 2012.

Yeah most of the 6 bolt tacoma or 4runner stuff has the same bolt pattern for the rims. Not sure about tire fitment but would think most stock tire/wheel setups would fit 2nd gen. you need different lug nuts when switching from steel to alloy wheels

    Yes. I have 21 OR’s on my 13.

Important to note, as mentioned above, if going from steel to alloy you need new lugs, alloy to alloy you can reuse. Also you will need new tpms. 16-23 tpms are not compatible with 2nd gens. Or just ignore the light.

I don't know which was the first year for TPMS, but I know 2005 Tacomas didn't have TPMS.

Fair enough. I’ll edit the above. 3rd gen sensors will not work with 2nd gen.

2 1/4 inch leveling kit. Westin bull bar and running boards.
I was told that the 24 and 25 models have a different center bore than the older trucks. Looking for a newer wheel for my 2015.

That's correct. See my post and others above if looking for takeoffs specifically. You don't need to limit to just Tacomas, 4Runners work too for the corresponding gen and 6 lug pattern. Just remember save your existing TPMS or you'll need new ones for no nag light.
