Recently installed a Cali Raised Stealth Bumper on my 2017 OR. I gotta say, the company was great to deal with, very helpful with all of my questions, and the bumper arrived well packaged and undamaged. It also arrived quickly! They have these in stock and it was at my door in less than a week from when I placed my order. American made as well!!!

The heft and overall quality was readily apparent. The welds were extremely nice and the powder coat finish was perfect and handsome. Everything fit as it should and, by using a few videos on YouTube, I was able to get it mounted up with little trouble.

I chose the Badland Apex 12k lbs winch and it fits perfectly in the bumper. One issue I encountered was while attempting to fit a 2nd light bar in the space between the upper grille and bumper. Due to the size and shape of the Apex’s control box, I was not able to do this. I suppose you could relocate the control box, but I wasn’t interested in doing that. So, I may order the Cali-Raised bracket that will allow me to mount it in the upper grille.

I also opted to install BAMF front frame horn supports to assist in preventing any frame damage while winching. I’m able to report that these supports are compatible with the Cali Raised Stealth Bumper with only slight modifications to the bumper and they’re impressively beefy!

I’m also happy to report that I did not have to trim my TRD Pro skid plate! I had seen conflicting reports on this. I did initially remove it to make installing the bumper easier. Now, I will say, that when the skid plate is completely tightened up, it does contact the bumper, but it makes no rubbing or squeaking noises, and actually looks like it was meant to be this way. No gaps and looks sweet!!!

Once everything was installed, I had a local shop bump my Eibach front suspension up to the 2nd setting to offset the added weight and regain my 2” of lift. I then had them install 285/75/16 KO3’s. The new KO3’s are pretty awesome and the Eibach suspension is handling everything extremely well. Truck is riding great!

I’m very pleased with how it all came together! If you’ve been interested in this style of bumper, I highly recommend giving this one a closer look. I don’t think you’d be disappointed!

Very nice, that's one hell of a light bar in that bumper.

Thank you! It’s a 32” double row and fits perfectly in the bumper’s opening with the mounts that Cali Raised supplies.

With having a winch now, I thought it would be a good idea to have a cut-off switch so it isn’t “hot” all the time. So, I installed this:

    IMG_3544.jpg

    IMG_3695.jpg

It’s a pretty slick setup. You can learn more about it here:

Or reach out to @HappyGilmore and he can answer all your questions.

Here is another pic of the BAMF front frame horn supports I added to prevent tweaking the frame while winching. The quality of craftsmanship is evident when you see them in person. Very beefy and well designed!

In my original post, I mentioned the clearance problem I ran into while trying to install a 2nd light bar in the space between the upper grill and bumper. The size of the Badland 12k lbs Apex control box prevented this. If one chose a smaller winch, it would likely fit fine. Here are some pics to illustrate the issue…

I also installed some Cali Raised ditch lights. The low profile brackets they make are very robust, fit perfectly, and have a very nice powder coat finish! Very happy with them. Just need to get them wired up now. Stay tuned!

    Great install w/ pics!!
I got the same bumper setup, full skids, and rock sliders from Cali Raised. The protection is definitely worth it.

How are you liking their rock sliders? I’ve been eyeballing them a lot lately. I really like their Trail Edition sliders with kick out.

Thanks a ton means a lot! The Stealth bumper’s one of our favorite setups too. Super clean, winch-ready, and that integrated 32" light bar keeps things sleek. If you ever need anything else or have questions down the road, you know where to find us.

Thank you, so much! It pales in comparison to a lot of builds on this forum. However, I’m very happy with it! Your comment made my day! :hattip:

Love them! I got the trail edition with kick out, they have saved me from crunching and creasing several times. Install was super easy. Highly recommend if you’re rockin around.

Man, that looks killer! I'm headed over to Cali Raised site now to check it out.

You mentioned you raised the suspension up to compensate for the additional weight. I see their site says it weighs 77lbs, did you notice a drop in the front end?
