Try rephrasing the question maybe? You need a camera that mounts to the pop & lock latch? Any other needs?

If you want the image to display in the head unit you need to start your research with that vendor.

Ask things like will it support that? Is there a kit to make proper connections with? Can I use a factory camera as part of the set up?

My 13 has the display in the rear mirror, I suspect other second gens would too. I had to add the mirror and the camera, but the wiring was all there.

Have you opened up the tailgate and looked?

I have an 2008 and there is no wiring in my tailgate and would assume other 2008 are the same. I also have a pop and lock with a spot for a backup camera and my head unit supports a backup camera. To install it I’d have to run the wires from the head unit to the tailgate and connect it to the reverse wire on the tail light.

I would recommend that you start with your head unit to see if it supports a backup camera and go from there.
