Hey team, I'm new here and looking for some options to address some uneven tire wear-
Only really affecting inside thread of driver side (minor rub on passenger side maybe)
Tires rubbing on FRAME and also a tiny bit on front suspension (look @ last pic)
I think neg offset rims will do the trick, but if anyone has had this issue and fixed it with alignment i'd like to hear.

got it with king suspension already installed
got it with the tires and rims pictured below.

OK, I'll get this started. I'm from the 3rd gen side, but I believe the two are very similar as to what can be done.

First off, that rub looks rusted over; are you sure it is currently rubbing. I would expect to see bright silver metal if it were a bad rub and it has been a bad rub in the past. Truck could have had larger tires in the past. Mix up a batch of patty-cake mud and slather it on that rubbed area, let it dry and go for a drive to see what wears off.

It appears your truck still has the stock UCAs so an increased Camber alignment would move the tires forward in the wheel well. See post #6 in this post for a description of that:

No idea as to the offset or backspacing is on the rims - looks like they might be original Toyota steel rims just painted over - I see drips in the paint.

The 255/85R16 tires I have run with no rubbing with just doing the high Caster alignment on my 3rd gen, again I do not know for sure if I am comparing apples to apples.

Update: Toycoma2021 was right that the rub on the frame is old
I see where the inside thread of the tire is rubbing- i think on the upper control arm
Alignment issue or perhaps smaller tires needed?
    Thanks!
Photo of rub spot below (I know its rusty :/ )

Again, slather the UCA with mud and find out. Your picture is a duplicate and from your first post, i.e. no new mud.

I *think* those are 2g wheels.

If so, maybe wrong offset for a 1g assuming you are actually rubbing anything. ?

Yes, we know nothing about the offset.

He hasn't proven to me he has any rubbing at all. It is hard to tell with the pictures. Seen no rubbing marks on the tires either - not that that is easy to see in person either.
