Me too. The garage lighting's not the best and something tells me I'm gonna need plenty
of light putting it on. Head lamps ok but I'd prefer sunlight. It's rained here so much lately.
Seems like every day nearly. But I'll post pics when I get them on. I did forget the Toyota
Mud Flaps I put on first due to all this rain. :mudding:

I just had my one year anniversary with my truck and have yet to see a maintenance light of any kind, however I haven't put 3,000 miles on it yet, so I guess the light is mileage based only... lol

Got an eyebrow put on yesterday. Can't really tell from outside since front windshield is dark AF.

Looks nice man. Is that Lunar rock or ement? Also, what is the Transmission shifter knob? Looks cool. I got the Luckyman club seat covers, they are absolutely amazing and you can't tell they are covers unless you pay very close attention.

Lol. I happen to like Ford. I used to have an older F150, then it was a F350 and a Flex for daily driving. They gave me almost 15 years or trouble free driving. The same can't be said for the Chevy's I've owned.
Though I will say Toyota has always been my favorite brand.

    Just kidding!
I like Ford too, though I wouldn't admit that on a Toyota forum lol! (sure hope nobody sees this)

Got my replacement light bar in and installed. The first one was too short for the mounting brackets.
I've got OEM style dash switches for the bar and ditch lights that need to be wired up, but, that's a project for another day.

Shifter is a Timilge Shift Knob from Amazon. The color is Cement. I think Lunar Rock is a little darker.
Seat covers came. Wrong Driver's side cover but I made do.
    A tease pic:

What they sent did not have a cut out for the seat controls so I stuffed what I could into it
and left it like that. Just a slight imperfection I'll either live with or take off cut it and have
my wife sew a blind stitch on her sewing machine to keep it from tearing more. But not right
now. this 76 year old man with a pacemaker had enough to last me awhile. Believe me, got
these on Amazon and if I had to do it again, I'd have took the seats out and to a cousin of
mine who made his living for years doing upholstery work. Even if he's sold out, he could
    recommend one to me.

Same with my old Outback . I saw the triangle and got flashbacks but realized it was just a reminder for the oil change.

Curious if anyone makes a kit that can be placed over the rear of the back seats plastic cover to give more grip to that area? I tried searching but have no idea what search terms to use to potentially find something that's already posted out there.

I'm super interested in a pre cut kit over a DIY version but open to seeing if this has been done.

    thanks

Building a platform that sits on top of the folded seats is fairly easy to do. I made one like in this thread, you just toss it onto the folded seats and you get a stable platform. Most people use them for their dogs, which I do as well, but mostly it was for keeping my toolboxes in the cab and having something to mount them to.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/2nd-gen-double-cab-folding-dog-platform.224420/

You could also use some of this stuff in strategic locations

I'm reminded of when car manufacturers had had bright red interiors in the 80s.

I threw a couple generic rubber floor mats on the hard plastic & problem solved. My cargo doesn't slide around.

Earlier than that. Our white ‘64 Comet wagon had red everything interior. Vinyl seats, steel dashboard, etc. . Loved that little wagon. First car my Dad owned with an automatic transmission. Bought it so, yes, my Mom could learn to drive. 5 children Dad figured it was time for her to go back to work.

I did a little painting, so far I really like the look. We'll see how it holds up.
