Hi, I just bought my new Tacoma a few days ago and it is great. I bought a 2011 standard cab 2wd and I was just wondering what are some things I could do to it. I like the look of a lifted truck but is it possible with a 5 lug? If it is what would that do to the mpg? Any other cool things you can think of to do to it would be great. Thanks for the help.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Sounds like the perfect little truck, 5 lug auto; very smart. Run those tires til they're bald. Until then maybe a nice little stereo. A Hellwig rear sway bar and a stainless exhaust tip.

Congrats on the new Taco apw. I got a 2011 standard cab 2WD manual several months ago and I love it so far. I am getting around 30 MPG consistently. Mine is completely stock. I like the look of bigger tires, but don't want the expense of them, or the decrease in gas mileage. I'm sure you will love your new truck.

My truck started its life as a base 5lug 2wd truck... Now after few months of ownership, it has many mods, is lifted and riding on 31x10.5x15 tires...

Check out my build thread for more info...
