From what i have gathered on a n FJ forum the wheel specs are as follows "The 16-inch FJC TRD wheels, PN PT904-35070, are 7.5" wide and have a 4.84" backspace. Each wheel weighs approximately 29 lbs." these are for the silver ones, i imagine the TT wheels are the same just black. my queston is will this backspacing work with 285/75/16's and a 3in toytec lift? i've read 4.5 is optimal and stock TRD off-road wheels are 5. i'm just not sure if the backspacing will allow me to clear rubbing the UCA's. i am looking at the spidertrax spacers but now am not sure if i need the 1in + they provide.

Did you ever figure this out?

I bought these rims for my 05 Tacoma, and want to go up to 285 tires, up from my 265's
