    Mostly Stock for now, 265 75 16 Falken AT3W, Tinted fronts...
    have you looked into getting a sigma 70-200? thats what panda jerk has...ask him how he likes it...its a lot cheaper than a canon 70-200 and if you found a used one you'd probably save a lot more money. thats the route ill probably go when its time to get a nice tele.

    Thats what I figured...it's the same specs as my Tamron but physically looks better.

    Thanks, my mom works in Asheville and said Ball photo, I'll have to go check it out. Thanks for the links. I may have to try one of them out.

    I've been looking at those Sigmas since that last post you put...some are cheaper some aren't. But the price for the Sigma 2.8 is almost the same as some of the Canon f/4s so the Sigma would be a better buy if I can find one in my price range. Bad thing is I don't know what my range is. :eek:

    Thanks again! I hope it does, the sports editor said he'd shoot me some money for doing it this fall and get me covered for what I've done in the past. If he does its going toward a new lens, and most likely sell the Tamron.

    How do you feel buying used lenses?

    I haven't had any issues with buying used. Just make sure you get it from someone that isn't shady and the lens looks good

    Same here, I've had luck in the past with the Tamron. It's in great shape, the same shape as when I bought it and everything worked good on it, and i've been pleased.

    Right that makes sense. I've seen a few of the Sigma's on eBay for about $600-700 and they look decent, a few scratches on the outside but nothing that scares me. I was just curious.
