look up your state DNR Department of Natural Resources. they can tell you when, where, and how to get a license. being outside keeps me sane. if i was stuck with my wife all day, i think i would have more kids! ;)

well, for your answer and a few more
i will be hunting in Louisiana, with either a 7mm-08 or 30-06. i am comfortable with both guns

probably around thanksgiving, cause thats my break from school

I am more comfortable shooting the 7mm-08, but u havent got to shoot my 30-06 since i had a recoil pad put on it.

I do have have a really good bow, so i may try and hunt with it next year if i go this year (my family owns 55 acres outside city limits hehehe)

no we can shoot them 24/7. i like to hunt them really early (1hour before sun rise) or really late (11pm and on). i only had to wait for this guy for 15-20 min. second one i have ever shot.

its nice for people to let you hunt on their ground. i dont run them over with trucks or have more than 1 other person go with me. i respect the local farmer.
