I own a 00 Tacoma with a 3.4 and i want to upgrade the filter. I went on to K&N's site but i wasn't sure what diameter of the mouth of the filter to get. I don't want to do the full cold air intake just yet, just a filter upgrade. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Oops, i forgot to mention that i want a pod filter. I want to completely remove the stock air box but want to keep the original intake tube, for now. Does anyone know what diameter of filter i need to get. K&N's site has about every size i could need, just not sure what size to go with. Thanks.

yea dude, i did the same exact thing you did b4 i got my CAI. go to autozone and get a 3 inch diameter MAF adapter and the filter should be 3 inches in diameter also to fit the end of the tube. you can take the whole air box off completely while still keeping ur original hose.
