I do like that idea! Would be nice to coordinate a weekend camping/shooting get away with members of your surrounding states. Looks like your in Cali and I am in Ohio so may be tough!

Anyone use an alarm? I have been looking into the Viper 5901 especially with all the stuff we carry in our vehicles.

I don't. I keep everything out of sight though. Also don't have a fancy radio or anything to draw attention except for the truck itself. But on the interior I leave nothing for probing eyes to see.

Just bought a Ka-bar Kukri machete for the times. Love it!

I just thought that I would post this but I have a pretty nice CRKT knife that a buddy gave me back in middle school and I thought I had lost it but found it today in my room. The clip was missing on it so I looked up replacement parts on Google and it sent me to CRKT's website and I filled out a replacement parts form and the are shipping the parts to me for free. I thought that was awesome lol

Same thing happened to me, I lost one of the 3 little screws holding the clip in place on my CRKT Mt. Shasta knife, and they sent me an assortment of spare parts for that knife for free. Certainly I will buy one of their knives again in the future!

I ordered a crkt clip point knife online. It looked awesome in the pics but once I got it it was tiny!!! I was pretty bummed so I don't think I will order another knife online again. Also the lock on it gets stuck and I have to force it to get it to unlock

I have 2 bobs. One for the truck and one bigger at home. Bug in if I can, if it really gets bad I guess I could head to the white mountains. I'm in NH

I've been looking at this thread on and off a few times and it is really a great read. I am far from an outdoorsman or survivalist, but I really have found everyone's information and the links educational and interesting. This has got me thinking more and more about what to do if SHTF and now I am starting to research and plan.

Just wanted to say thanks to the OP and the other contributors to the thread. This is good stuff.
