I don't have any extra wheels, just the tires. I have 3 (well used) 285/75/16's, and an un-used stock sized spare. (245/75/16 Dunlop)
I just looked and the 245 has really bad notches in the sidewall from sitting in the spare carrier for the last 5 years.:( It is probably garbage...

The 285's are BF All Terrain T/A's. They are ALMOST down to the wear bars but not quite. (Maybe 1/16th of tread PAST past the wear bars.)

Once again, I only have 3 of them. The 4th was almost totally bald and I disposed it.

I would not bother running them, but they would make a great, cheap spare in a pinch.

    IDK.... $25 each???

I assume you meant pavement. They can handle gravel, snow and dirt pretty darn well. I'm just not willing to beat the shit out of my DD.

They stole the steering wheel from the 5th Gen 4Runner. Who cares about the light mod on the 4WD switch? How often do you wheel in the dark and how long does it really take to learn what each position of the switch does?

I don't know what you mean about the door storage, but I'll take your word for it. Overall I think it's a decent facelift. Too bad they didn't do something more extreme but Toyota is probably busy spending money on developing a diesel engine :cookiemonster:

Yeah I meant pavement. My phone decided otherwise. They have great traction they just lack the clearance. I'm very happy with my fiancée's legacy but it only has maybe six inches of clearance. My brother has a 2011 wrx and he's already cracked the front bumper from gravel/snow covered roads. Last year I pulled out at least ten Subarus because they were high centered.

Yeah, definitely no ground clearance. Put a set of forester struts on them and you have something.

Yeah, that pic was full screen at first and it resized itself..automagically!

Those guard dogs look sweet, and they're cheap too!

I got a cheap spare for you if you change your mind...

I will keep that in mind. I almost want to get BFG A/T since I don't wheel as much anymore. I ran the BFG A/T on my old Taco and it was ok.

I won't be getting new tires for awhile as I don't have as far of a commute as I used to now that I moved back home.

 I was thinking more like the Goodyear Wrangler MT/R.

I ran the Toyo MT's before I got my current KM2 and they're not bad. My only complaint about them is they're expensive and heavy. I got about 35k miles with them. Good off road tires IMO.

I just wish they would bring back the BFG MT KM1.

KM1's are one of the ugliest mud tires in existence. :boink:

I'll have to get ahold of him.

Yea, I was looking through Benton County's SAR stuff and saw a Mary's Peak unit. I think this is one is a separate group from that though.

Way to pristine for me to get my hands on lol. I do love those fj trucks.

About how often did you get called out? What kind of stuff did you get to deal with?

Username, there was a wagon similar to that on craigslist last month or so. Pretty cool rig and the guy wasn't selling it for much either.

look into the pro comp m/t...it looks pretty similar to the original BFG m/t

Wow, you are correct! I think the Firestone Destination has more of an exact replica though.

Only reason why I like the KM1s so much is because I had over 50k miles on them and they still had a good chunk of tread left.

Anyone going to the auto show this weekend :stirthepot:

Thought about it, but we are gonna head to the home improvement show instead.

We worked primarly on Mount Hood. So we dealt with lost or injured hikers. All depended on who was on the mountain

So, I was incredibly bored at work last night so I started to look for some new wheels. What's your guys opinions on these. I know their are some different styles but what do you think would look better

    1. http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/wheels/mb_wheels/size/viewProductDetail.do?pc=68776

I have really liked these since I first saw them. I don't know how grey these are, but I could get them powdercoated if I wanted them darker

    2. http://www.4wheelparts.com/Wheels/A..._pt=101002&t_pl=101306&t_pn=W/PAX18169060612N

These look bad ass in person

    3. http://www.4wheelparts.com/Wheels/A...10&t_pt=101002&t_pl=101315&t_pn=W/PAX39816838

    Classic look

    4. http://www.4wheelparts.com/Wheels/X...&t_pt=100106&t_pl=10055&t_pn=W/PXD12268060700

Pretty much a mixture of all.

    Damn decisions
