yea about a good 4 1/2 hours drive!!

 

I know I don't post a lot (but I lurk a lot) but I got question for you all.

I picked up some like new sport rims last night for 175 (which I hope was a good deal). I'm debating selling them (assuming I underpaid what they are worth). Or putting them on my truck. I planned on upgrading at some point so i got the truck with the steel rims. The tires are the stock Dunlop AT20s and have about 500 miles on them. You guys think I could get 500 for the set? I'd be willing to sell it separately also. From what I found the steels could go for 25 a piece and the tires retail for about 580 shipped from tire rack and they are practically new. Thoughts?

As far as the rims go... good price... tires... there's almost a buyer for everything. Personally.. I look for good deals. If it's even remotly close to an online price new... I'm not paying it.

I finally checked out the CJ yesterday... rebuilt engine (straight 6) and tranny... 85... unknown miles... new radiator... very rough inside and out... guy still wants 3G for it and the rad is not in yet. Needs tires, master cyl, and I'd want different seats too!!! I'm gonna pass. I figure another 3G to get it trail ready, and I will still be TOWING it so I have my rolling hotel with me! grrrrr.... I can get the winch set up for the pre runner... and just winch myself out of messes!!! What's a boy to do!?!?!?

In hs one of my friends got drawn on... We were leaving base after a round of golf. They were checking cars on the way out, he kept rolling. Ended up 10ft past the guards before stopping. This was before sec guys ran the gates. MP with a m16 aimed at him, was funny watching it all go down

 

Did you use your winch? How did it do pulling that? burbin stuck like that is what, like 15,000lbs?
