Danielsternlighting.com has three options - good better and best. I went with the better and I love them. And that dude knows his lighting shit. I would go with whatever he offers.

Those are almost double the wattage as stock. Before attempting to run a higher wattage you might need to upgrade your wiring or you could risk burning your truck to the ground.

It's also illegal to run such a high wattage on road.

They are much brighter then stock so it will be better.

Post the date in here when you put them in.....and then when they blow out (if you can remember).

If you want the best here you go.

I have included pictures of the install and the beam pattern. Best, whitest bulbs I have found so far. Couldn't be happier. Read the entire thread... all questions answered there.

sub'd. i definitely need some brighter headlights. im working on upgrading my 06 to mostly leds, all except the headlights-this is a good alternative for the price. i love the crisp clean light.

Silverstars are only "Slightly" better than stock and most definitely not worth the money.

I'm using the Hella Xenon 2.0 9003. Brighter and whiter than stock. They have been in for 2 years, as of yet still going strong. I switched the fogs to LED's to fill in the near field.

I "had" them for about 11 months before they went out. I might have overstated when I said the best.

They were great when they worked but they didn't last very long and at $150 they ended up not being worth it. I tried a second set and they lasted all of 30 mins. No shit... 30 mins. LED is great when it works but the technology just isn't ready for aftermarket consumption.

Just the essentials and no extra fluff.
Since the blue end of the light spectrum scatters more readily, anything with a blue coating is going to trick your brain into thinking it's brighter. It won't actually be brighter, it will just appear to be brighter. Especially when shining in the eyes of other drivers. Blinding the guy driving towards you is probably a bad idea. Personally, I buy the most expensive bulb that is the correct OEM wattage without a blue coating and replace them as a pair after 2-3 years. A higher wattage is just going to get you a melted headlight housing. A very smart engineer designed that headlight and there isn't much you can do to make it better.
