Can you tell me about the tailgate hose clamp trick more clearly?

    I saw the previous thread on the tailgate theft and how some people put the hose clamp on.

    I is not clear where and how it's installed from the pics I see. Can someone tell me like I was a toddler how to do this step by step and post pics if possible?

    No. It would be dangerous for a toddler to play with the tailgate.:eek:

    Thanks so much. I just way a pic of the hose clamp when it was in place, but didn't know where it was put in place or how to get it there.

    I have a cap on my bed now but before I got that I installed a Pop-N-Lock on my tailgate. The only way it can be easily stolen now is if it's left open (or unlocked.) It was about $45 and far less than the cost of replacing the tailgate if it gets stolen. Easy ten minute install and worth it. Strange how a Tundra tailgate has a lock but not the Taco....:confused:
