I ordered a new muffler to put on my '98 taco today and the guy asked me if I wanted to put a highflow cat on as well. He didn't know where the o2 sensor was though, if it was on the cat or not. Does anybody know where it is located?

On my 96....There were two O2 sensors.

One before the CAT and one after. You really can't miss 'em....

    Here's a couple picts off my 96 3.4L.

Thank you Janster for your reply, you are right about not really being able to miss them.
