Hey guys, I'm new here, so I thought id say hello and start by asking a question, I couldn't find anything relating to this in the forums, but if it was asked I am sorry.

The Tacoma, 4runner, and FJ Cruiser, all seem to share a lot in common parts ect, so i am curious if the transfer cases from either would fit into a tacoma? specifically the part time from the FJ into a 6 speed taco. For those who prefer a shifter vs a switch?

I had always wanted a truck with the sort of 4wd system in the V6 4runner, 2wd, part time 4wd and full time. I used to own a grand cherokee with selectrac, and loved the ability to leave it in full time 4wd all winter. I tried to do a manual swap to my GC but, appearntly the part time/full time TC cant take the load/unloading on the drivetrain from the maual? Thats what all the ZJ guys told me anyhow. Never made much sence to me. Anyway hopefully you guys can help out!

    Matt
