Fuelfilter

OK the owners manual states the fuelfilter is a "Non-Servicable" item. How do they get around it? Never owned a vehicle that didnt have a fuel filter! What is used to protect the fuel injectors? A fuel sock on the fuel pump? Cant see that lasting forever! Any ideas?

But yes its true, the item is not serviceable like the older gen tacomas/trucks.

 

Any idea on how long we can expect the stock filter to last under normal conditions? I like the URD setup. Might consider the change over when warranty is up.

 

It's not listed in the service manual as a maintenance item, so you don't need to change it.
